Refund & Return Policy

At Komospare, we are committed to delivering high-quality motorcycle spare parts and services. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, this policy explains how we handle returns, exchanges, and refunds.


1. Eligibility for Returns

You may request a return if:

  • The item is defective, damaged, or incorrect upon delivery.

  • The item is unused, in its original condition, and includes all packaging, manuals, and accessories.

  • The request is made within 7 days of delivery for spare parts or within 3 days of service completion for workshop work.

Note: Electrical parts, special-order items, and custom-cut products are not eligible for return unless proven defective.


2. Return Process

To initiate a return:

  1. Contact Us: Email komodosparecenter25@gmail.com or call +256 743 666 294 within the eligibility window.

  2. Provide Details: Include your order number, proof of purchase, and a brief description of the issue (photos encouraged).

  3. Approval: Our team will review your request and provide a Return Authorization (RA) number if approved.

  4. Shipping/Drop-off: Send the item to our Kireka branch or an approved partner location. Customers are responsible for return shipping unless the item was defective or incorrectly supplied.


3. Refunds

  • Approved refunds will be processed within 7–14 business days of receiving the returned item.

  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method (mobile money, bank transfer, or card).

  • Shipping fees are non-refundable, except in cases where Komospare is at fault (wrong or defective item).


4. Exchanges

  • Where possible, we can replace a defective or incorrect item with the same product or an item of equal value.

  • If the item is out of stock, you may request a store credit or a full refund.


5. Service-Related Refunds

For workshop services, refunds are only provided if:

  • Work was not performed as agreed, or

  • Parts used were defective and not replaced within the warranty period.

Any approved refund will be limited to the cost of the service or part in question.


6. 30-Day Warranty

Most of our genuine spare parts come with a 30-day warranty covering manufacturer defects.
This warranty does not cover:

  • Damage caused by accidents, misuse, or improper installation.

  • Normal wear and tear.


7. Non-Returnable Items

For safety and quality reasons, the following cannot be returned unless defective:

  • Electrical components (e.g., CDI units, coils, sensors)

  • Custom-cut or special-order parts

  • Items without proof of purchase
